Code Of Conduct
All rules of discipline communicated through the Code of Conduct must be strictly adhered to. In case any rule is violated, a penalty decided by the Disciplinary Committee will be imposed.
1. Regular attendance is a condition for promotion to the next class. Please, don’t allow your child to be absent except for health reasons or such exceptionally valid reasons. Absence must be accounted for in writing even if it is for one day only. The school allows only five (05) absences in a year with some valid reasons mentioned by parents in writing. Students with shortage of attendance will be penalized and considered ineligible for registration in Board Examinations.
2. Punctuality is a key-word and school timings are to be strictly observed, which during winter and summer both are 7:50 a.m. to 1:40 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and 7:50 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Fridays.
3. We have a five-day working week (Monday to Friday) with a two-day weekend break. However, in case of unscheduled closures, the school’s decision is announced on the school website or mobile application by 5:00 a.m. of the day and in such cases, the school may also work on Saturdays which is all communicated through our web-page and mobile app.
4. The academy does not own any bus OR vehicle for transporting students. It is the duty of parents to pick and drop their children on time or make arrangements with private transporters. However, they can contact the Transport Coordinator who can guide them to the right transporter for their children.
5. Parents must attend to the personal hygiene and cleanliness of their child/children. Please, see that they come to school clean and clad in proper school uniform as prescribed in the Dress Code given at the end.
6. Students are not permitted to leave the school premises during school hours. In case of any urgency, parents/guardians are required to bring a copy of the Identity Card and fill the Departure Slip at the school gate. The school authority may ask to prove the identity and relation with the student and also reserves the right to accept or decline the request.
8. Parents are required to attend all the Parent-Teacher Meetings with full responsibility whenever organized by the academy. If a parent is asked to come and meet the Principal/ Class Teacher, it must be understood that there is some important matter to be discussed with them and hence they should meet the person/persons concerned without delay.14
9. Parents are advised to communicate with the school administration throught he mobile application. A request for meeting can be sent on the app and the best suitable time wiill be selected.
10. The school is not responsible for any loss of books, money, clothes, mobiles or other belongings of the students. Pupils must look after their own possessions.
11. The school believes in a non-aggressive and non-violent way of communication. Any violence or threat from student’s or parents/guardian’s side to the Management or teachers will be taken seriously and may lead to the cancellation of the student’s registration.
12. All students are required to respect the rights and property of others. Serious actions may be taken against the students causing any intentional damage to the school or any other property.
13. Physical violence is absolutely prohibited and bullying is another intolerable act calling for immediate actions. Among the students caught fighting, the one who strikes first will be more severely punished even if provoked for it as violence is never the correct solution for any dispute. Any gang bullying and fighting or involving political influence may result in instant rustication of the student. The same way the student carrying any arm/ammunition or fighting objects shall be treated.
16. Use of indecent or offensive language and actions shall be dealt with warnings, detention and suspension respectively. If the misbehavior persists, it may finally result in rustication.
17. Use of cigarettes/ Sheesha/Vape or any other form of drug is strictly prohibited. Any student found in possession of the said items will be rusticated.
18. Disciplinary Committee’s decision shall be considered final and unquestionable.
