Welcome to Beacon Light Academy!
The WORLD of World Class Achievers
Beacon Light Academy is an O & A Levels school – an institute that has stood the test of time for more than 4 decades now, buoyed by the determination and drive to provide quality education to students, with a complementing team of dedicated and sincere faculty that ensures the children do not just gain academic knowledge but also learn how to navigate life with compassion, kindness, and morality. Our aims are further supported by the modern resources available such as science and robotics laboratories, libraries for different levels, and multimedia-equipped classrooms.
The Academy is recognized as a Registered Participating Institution for International GCSE (IG) and A-Levels (IAL) Examinations in affiliation with Pearson Edexcel International, (UK Qualification).
Upholding its legacy of making education accessible for students from all paths of life and converging said pathways into one road to cultivate one community, the Academy now also offers Matriculation (SSC) and Intermediate (HSSC) in agreement with Aga Khan University Examination Board.

What We Stand For
Our Programmes
Words of Wisdom that Keep Us Going!
From Our Founding Father – Sir Sanaullah Kazi (Late)
Since its inception three decades ago, Beacon Light Academy has achieved remarkable growth and expansion over a widespread area, i.e. till Gulshan-e-Maymar, and thus has become a leading O-Level education facility in Karachi. As you go through our website, you will get a glimpse into our world.
Our core purpose as a school is to impart the highest quality of education to young people and empower them to successfully take their place in the world outside; of course, not forgetting our responsibility towards less-privileged children which we are duly attending to in the form of Khadija Kazi Ali Memorial High School (KKAMHS) in Surjani Town.
Beacon Light Academy and Khadija Kazi Ali Memorial High School are the places where education, games, and art come together in a glorious kaleidoscope that will shape the future of your child. We aim to develop students who will be well-educated, skilled in communication, dynamic, innovative, self-assured, self-reliant, and
eager to learn. We nurture our students to make them respect their religion and culture, and have a sound code of ethics, and willingness to contribute to the community and the country. Our teachers are immensely committed to their work as educators and strive to work with all of our students, regardless of their ability levels, to help them realise their full potential
Wassalam!

What Makes Us Different?

Message from Mrs. Azra Anwar Ahmed – Principal
MOTHERS OF OUR STUDENTS
“The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world.”
Everyone has heard the great saying for mothers, but where is that hand?
We can’t see it anymore, either it is working in a factory or filing in an office. Now who shall rock the cradle?
Children need their mother to pat them in appreciation, comfort them when they are in distress, console them when they lose, tap them when they are going astray, pull them back when they are on the edge, wipe their tears, oil their hair, fry them eggs, butter their toast, roll their paratha, tickle when sad & beat them when they are bad. Let us be motherly mothers, spend time not only with them but for them too.
Dear parents,
To complete the triangle your co operation with us in helping your child in the upward journey is direly needed. Let’s remind and revise the following certain rules is vital for our children.
What you can do and why
- Ensure regular attendance of your ward for revision of past papers and Absence may cause disqualifying for further mock papers and examination in genuine sickness please write an application, send it with original prescription of physician you had taken your ward to.
- Cell phone had been a nagging source of nuisance and hampering disciplinary system, do not let them bring or if they do, school shall confiscate.
